In Class:
Using the Literary Analysis Paragraph rubric as a guide, create a video essay that explicates an important theme in Moby Dick. You have two full class periods to work on it. It needs to be posted by Thursday.
Other than that, this is totally a "figure it out" assignment. In the end, a viewer should feel "edified" by the content and presentation.
You will have three class periods to finish the project.
Homework:
Tuesday: Journal Post and read chapters 42-44
Wednesday: Journal Post and read chapters 45-47
Thursday: Journal Post and read chapters 48-50
Weekend: Journal Post, work on video, read ahead if you "want."

- Be sure to include a suporting reference from a "noted" scholar of some sort who back up the statements you make.
- Be sure to cover every stage of the analysis rubric--though you can go above and beyond the rubric because the rubric is a guide, not an end.
